Emily and Humberto The Wedding

We hope that everyone had a really great Valentine's Day. Right now we're at about the 7 1/2 month mark with no signs of time slowing down. When we first got engaged everyone told us how fast time would go by and I really didn't believe them. I knew that I had about a year and a half to sort everything out which seemed to be long enough. Well, time has officially flown by and I can't believe how close I'm getting to the BIG DAY!!! I have been waiting since my first date with Humberto to marry him and it's coming up really soon!!! By now, everyone should be receiving their save-the-dates, courtesy of our new puppy, Belle.

Last year for my birthday, Humberto thought it would be a good idea (after years of nagging)to finally adopt a dog. So, off we went to the Orange County SPCA, here in Orlando. There, we picked out a beautiful blonde 2 year old mutt. We've had her for about a year now, and I couldn't imagine how we ever lived without her. This weekend, the three of us are raising money by walking for Belle's former shelter. I can only hope that other dogs like her might find their perfect families just as Belle found us. I couldn't imagine anyone better to be on our save-the-dates as the introduction to our wedding! No, she won't be there on the actual day though. :( Just in case anyone was wondering how my dog ended up with a Disney name-she actually came with it! Yes, I am a huge Disney fan, but we didn't actually know her name when we adopted her. It was only when we were filling out the adoption paperwork that they brought out our new addition, Belle. When they asked us if we wanted to change her name, we both looked at each other and said together, NO!
